Political Economy of Global Development

Global goals, such as the SDGs shape normative international discourse on global development and aid-funded programmes and projects.  The achievement of such goals is frequently frustrated by insufficient consideration of local dynamics and contexts.  Our work explores politics and power across the global development landscape:  making connections from local to international scales.
