On 29th May, Mel Yan (University of Leeds/CGD), Cindy Leung (University of York) and Martin Parker (University of Leeds/GFEI Student Ambassador) hosted a writing retreat designed specifically for PhD students navigating the interdisciplinary themes of food, development, and society.
Dr Narayanaswamy of the School of Politics and International Studies has worked with Oxfam International's Amina Hersi to jointly publish a briefing paper examining the state of gender equality over the last thirty years following the commitments made under the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
