CGSC and CGD submit global health security evidence to UK Parliament
The Centre for Global Security Challenges (CGSC) and Centre for Global Development (CGD) in the School of Politics and International Studies submitted written evidence to UK parliament on COVIDー19 and global health security which has been now been published.
The research centres’ joint submission to the UK Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee enquiry on Global Health Security examines the FCDO’s role in forwarding a global and multilateral approach to health security.
“We are submitting evidence because of our collective expertise related to global health, health security, health governance and diplomacy, health systems and financing, and international health collaboration and trust” state the CGSC and CGD contributors.
Dr Emma-Louise Anderson, Dr Laura Considine, Professor Garrett Wallace Brown, Dr Owain Williams, Dr Markus Fraundorfer, Dr Alexander Beresford and Dr Lisa Thorley all contributed to the evidence.
