Monday’s event will be on the different types of writing techniques you could use to write your thesis (and other long documents).

Dr Nilam Ashra-McGrath (who gave us a fantastic plenary at the RiDNet conference in January with her PhD rollercoaster), will share some writing tips from her own PhD experience (she passed with no corrections!), followed by a chance to use one of the writing techniques and also time for Q & A and discussion. There will also be a chance to offer suggestions for future RiDNet writing sessions.

This seminar is open to all disciplines and could be useful if you’re currently writing up, or in earlier PhD stages.

Don’t forget to bring your lunch, pen and paper (bonus points for bringing coloured pens!)

RiDNet brown bags are informal lunchtime seminars. If there’s a topic you’d like to suggest for the next event, please drop us an email to ridnet@leeds.ac.uk
