This workshop is organised as part of our RiDNet career development workshops, and will take place on Thursday 30th March 2023 from 10:30 - 12:00pm online.

Tailored to University of Leeds PGRs who have an interest in grant applications to address global challenges, this workshop will help to unpack what it means to write a successful grant application. Our first speaker will be Dr Helen Rajabi from the Global Research Development Team at the University of Leeds. Helen will first provide an overview of how to identify the right grant call for your research, how to collaborate across institutions and stakeholders, and how to get support from within the university for your grant application. This will be followed by a presentation from Assoc Prof Susannah Sallu from SRI, University of Leeds. Susie will provide a case study from her research in Tanzania and her various successful grant applications from different funding bodies, how to seek out research funds, and how to position yourself within these applications. This will then be followed by Q&A, so please do come with your questions or pre-submit them in the box below.

Please use this form to register for this workshop. After registering, you will receive a calendar invite with Teams link.

We also welcome any feedback and/or comments on the outline and structure of this event. Many thanks.
