Adapting Research Design: Dealing with the Unexpected in the Field
đ
 Thursday 27th November
đ 14:00 - 15:00
đ Baines Wing SR 2.14
Fieldwork rarely goes as plannedâhow do we adapt when the unexpected happens? We are inviting PGRs and postdocs to share experiences of putting research designs into practice and overcoming challenges in the field. If you would like to speak to this topic, please let us know by email to [email protected] by Monday 24th November. You are welcome to prepare a short presentation (max. 5 mins), but this is not a requirement.
If you would like to attend but not present, please sign up here.
The event will provide an informal and supportive space to connect with other researchers, ask questions, and exchange insights from your research journeys. PGRs and postdocs at all stages and from all faculties are welcome. Youâll also hear from the CGD Co-Directors Geoff Goodwin and Caroline Dyer, who will outline CGD activities this academic year and how you can get involved. Refreshments will be provided!
