The Centre for Global Development (CGD) is holding a brown-bag lunch event on academic careers post-covid for PhD students and early career researchers. This event will be hosting the Co-Director of the CGD, Professor Anna Mdee talk about academic careers. Some of the expected discussion points include academic careers post-covid, the implication of the recent ODA and research cuts for PhD students and some guidance in filling University online job application forms. The date of the event is Thursday, 1st July 2021, at 11 am (BST) and will be held on Microsoft Teams. Individuals outside the University are welcome to attend this event.
